Have you given up yet? My first four weeks have passed and I am hanging in there. I’ve been tempted a few times to get the back and sides tidied up but I’ve resisted. My plan now is to try and get another four weeks under my belt before I have it trimmed at all. When I do have a trim I’ll only get my sideburns and the nape of my neck tapered and maybe clean up around my ears but thats it. When people grow out their hair I always notice the sides and back become a lot longer than the top. I will keep the edges tidy up until about month 5-6 then I will start to let them grow out too.
My hair is fine but theres loads of it so I use a daily shampoo and wash my hair regularly. I’ve also been conditioning it twice per week to take care of my scalp and keep my hair in the best condition whilst it grows.
These last few days I have been using a small amount of Cutthroatpete Klay in my hair just to stop it looking too fluffy. I find by adding a small amount of CTP Klay to the end of my hair makes it actually looks thicker. I won’t start applying products deeper into my hair until it gets longer because I don’t want my scalp to be visible through my hair, this would just make it appear thinner.
If you have decided to grow your hair out too, don’t forget to drop me a comment or even a progress pic. A few of my clients are joining me on the journey and we’re spurring each other on!
