I wanted to give you some ideas of what you could buy your partner/ husband/ wife/ girlfriend/ crush this valentines day.
It’s fast approaching and if, like me, your mind goes blank when it comes to thinking of ideas then maybe this guide could give you the inspiration you’ve been looking for.
Personally, I always like to start thinking about what I’m going to buy Jen a good few weeks before Valentines day. I always like the gift to be something smallish, but something that I know she’ll really like.
Working in my day job I chat to men all day every day and I always seem to give them great gift ideas for their partners. And, then after Valentines day they come to me saying their partner was really happy with their gift. I wonder how many of these men actually tell their partners that I told them what to buy?!?!?
Cue this blog! I thought if I can influence a few people or help them pick an ideal gift, then it’ll save at at least one person a little bit of stress, wont it?
Some people I speak to like to set a budget when it comes to gifts. (Probably so that the other person in the relationship doesn’t go and buy a really expensive present leaving them feeling really guilty about giving just a card and a re-gifted box of Quality Street from Christmas. Awkward.) For other people, they know their partners well enough to not have to even mention a budget. So the gift ideas I will list below will be in budget order to make it even easier to pick something out.
Start with a nice personalised card from toowordy.co.uk. They are an independent design business from Merseyside with a personalised and bespoke service. They have a great range of valentines cards on their website this year as well as a large range of hand made posters and gifts.
Personalised Solid Copper Wallet Photo Card from Oakdene designs on notonthehighstreet.com.
This would be a really nice personalised gift for a girl to keep in her purse. One for the romantics! She can then keep a memory, moment or person close at all times. Its awesome how uniquely personalised it can be.
Creed Aventus For Her Perfume from Creed
Creed Aventus for Men has been a top seller since it’s launch in 2011 and 2016 saw the launch of their ladies version. It smells so nice and very classy. Surely you can’t go wrong with perfume?
Crystallised Roses from Luxury Roses London
Every lady loves a bunch of roses!. These come in their own display box and last a whole 12 months…..which means you’re covered for a year.
Ladies, you might think us men don’t appreciate the time you spend looking for a card but some of us do. I really appreciate a good card. Love Layla has some great novelty Valentines cards to choose from.
Personalised Favourite Song Sound Wave Print from House of Yve on notonthehighstreet.com
How cool is this? This is a gift I think any man would really appreciate. The fact that you know what his favourite song is, makes it even more special. Or you could do your wedding song or a song that has meaning to the two of you. You can add a personal message to the print too.
Cutthroatpete Gift Vouchers and Grooming Products from Cutthroatpete
Now, I couldn’t do a gift ideas blog without including my own range could I? Treat your man to some Cutthroatpete Grooming products. His hair will look and smell great and you can custom build the set. Our range is all made in the UK, not tested on animals and available in store and online.
Our Gift Vouchers are available in store only but are redeemable on all services in our Jamaica Street store and our full range of grooming products and apparel.
The Great Frog Silver Square Signet Ring from The Great Frog
I have been a follower of The Great Frog London for a good while. Their Silver Jewellery is hand made by them on site and is of such high quality. Their background story is as good as the jewellery they produce. Check them out! I particularly like their Square Signet Ring.
These are some ideas I found when thinking of cool, meaningful presents on a budget. Hopefully, you’ll find some useful inspiration from this blog and if you do use one of my ideas, and your partner is made up with their prezzy, drop me a comment below and let me know.
Time for me to start my Valentines day shopping!!
Have a good one!
